A beautiful Day!

I hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day. We had a great day! It was even a little cooler ( 90) and a great breeze. We took the boat out for an incredible sail in the Gulf of Mexico. It was perfect! 15-20 kts of wind, 3-4 ft seas, and all the sunshine you could want! The water is such a beautiful blue-green, I never tire of it. And today we we treated by several pods of dolphins skimming along in our bow wave....3 with tiny babies!!! A perfect day!

And just so I have a picture...this is my family postcard for May. It is on it's way to Mary. I used brown silk for the background, wool felt for the base flower, leaf, and stem; Angelina fibers, and beads for the center. The butterfly is sequins I picked up at MQS attached with a brad.
.Hope you had a great day too!

  1. I love that postcard! I think it's really neat that you are exchanging cards within your family. I think I will suggest that my brothers start sending cards to me! LOL!

  4. I can't wait to get my card! So when will the list go up for next month? I think I'll wait to see who gets mine before I decide what to do.
