Two posts in one day! Just to give you a peek of the "white" quilt. I finally finished marking it and got it loaded yesterday. Today I started quilting it. It took me a total of 8 hours to get it marked (98" x103") Normally, I do very little, if any marking. But this quilt is mostly white space so it had to be marked completely.I've just started quilting the motifs in these photos: there is still a good bit of background fill to do.

Uh, yea, I think it will be "OK".:)
ReplyDeleteI'm several days behind in my blog readings, so here goes :-)
ReplyDeleteI love what you are doing on this white quilt! It's gonna be gorgeous. Fiona is a doll! Glad Harry is better.
It looks really good Deb, I can't wait to see the whole thing.
ReplyDeleteIt looks awesome!! I'm curious, Deb, where did you learn how to do this? (in other words I want to learn how to do this!!)
ReplyDeleteThanks. Deb to answer your question...I buy every book that comes out and I doodle constantly. Then I stitch out designs on charity quilts. After that, I can pretty much do it.
ReplyDeleteIt's going to be wonderful
ReplyDeletedeb that looks wonderful! i'm anxious to see the rest of it.
ReplyDeleteIt's going to be beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteI'm with the others, can't wait to see the finished result!! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI also worry about using the blue marker, too. I've seen too many quilts where the marker was not washed out properly and then turn brown in the heat.
This quilting looks so lush, something like hawaii quilt without the appliqué. It is gorgeous. Hope to see more soon. Take care.
ReplyDeleteYou 'think' it will be O.K.? It's already way more than O.K. - it's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI needed Harry with me in that hotel room in Antigua :-)
It's already beautiful Deb and I bet will be a show stopper when finished.
ReplyDeleteLove the cat tales and am glad Harry is better!
