Then come the books; I'm always on the lookout for books. These are my latest.
And then, from artfabriks...hand dyed, pre-fused, die cut shapes. How cool is that! So cool, in fact you are looking at $90's worth........
So I figured at $90 for that tiny little bit, maybe I should buy my own die cutter to use my own hand dyed fabrics. So I ordered the Accu cut 'studio' and way too many dies......
I decided to go with the studio rather than the 'go' because the dies are so limited for the 'go'. I also figured I'd put it to good use making kits for my classes. So, that makes it a business expense. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!

Glad someone besides me is doing their part to stimulate the economy!
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting one of those cutters---didn't know the dies were limited in the one you can tote around with you. Glad to know it as I was about to order one. Guess I'll wait to build up more money...maybe after my birthday usually DH and his parents give me some money then.
Even if I wasn't so cheap and spent the money, I have no room anywhere to put such a machine.
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous.
Hi Deb! Found your blog through Quilter Blogs, and had to come and see these hand dyed, pre-fused, die cut shapes. Do you have a link where you bought them? I might use them once in a while, but not often enough to spring for a cutter...
ReplyDeleteThanks, I'm off to explore your blog some more!
Cheers,
Nadine

ReplyDeleteI think you just can't stand for me to have cooler toys than you do! You'll have to tell me which 3 books are must buys for me.
