Happy New Year!

Hope everyone made it through last night's celebrations without too much pain. Lame as ever, we didn't make it to midnight...LOL!

I spent the day working on a few  projects for a while, and then decided to take the rest of the day off and read by the pool.  Very enjoyable way to spend the day!  Tomorrow it'll be time time get this new year rolling!

May this be your best year ever!

    2009 will be fine??? I'll take it.... I did some organizing in the shop... then made some lamb chops... no thrills kinda day here... Pool sounds nice...lol

    we celebrated with new york (watching ABC), and then again at our own midnight (watching NBC which had time-delayed the ball dropping...).

    We were bummed - apparently they'd canceled the annual NYE fireworks by the river (we can see them from the kitchen) because of low attendance. Of course, this would have been our first year to see them. Go figure, who doesn't want to stand outside until midnight in sub zero weather???
