A new finish

I have been working on Mary's quilt, but my eyes needed a break, so I loaded this client quilt. She made it with civil war reproduction fabrics. She is an excellent piecer and does beautiful hand applique. I used Renae's arcs for the curved crosshatching. Good tools make the job so much easier! This has Quilters' Dream Blend batting and I used Superior So Fine thread # 402.

Now I'll load Mary's again and work on it a little more.
Have a great evening!

  12. This lady does beautiful applique but WOW, is your quilting fantastic! This quilt will be a cherished heirloom; I hope when she labels it you get ample credit for the lovely job you did. I also wish the women at the longarm quilting service I use could take lessons from you. Your skills put anyone I have dealt with to shame!
