As I read that last post....

I feel very ashamed. Here at this time of year, when I have everything and so many have nothing, or are dealing with life threatening health issues, I go on and on about a stupid virus. Not much for the holiday spirit.

I am so blessed; with a loving family...Mother, siblings and extended family who are all close. A wonderful husband who doesn't mind the dust bunnies and mile high stack of laundry waiting to be done and who supports my passion for this craft; the financial freedom to indulge this passion; wonderful children and 3 beautiful granddaughters. A generous, supportive circle of friends; including the longarm community and my blogger friends. 2 beautiful, loving fur babies . And the list goes on and on.

Oh, and lest I forget...beautiful, tropical weather :)

So, forgive the previous rant. And to all of you have a wonderful holiday time.

  1. Deb, everyone is allowed to whine now and then. We are human. As long as you realize it's only a temporary whine (which you do) you're alright. Hope you feel better soon.

PS - I'll whine a little with you. I'm also fighting a winter virus.

  2. Nothing wrong with an occasional whine! I hope you feel better very quickly so you can enjoy Christmas.

  3. What a pain, I'd hoped you were on the mend. I felt fairly good today so I don't think I got the same virus the rest of you did.

Chris and Becky arrived around 6PM and we had a wonderful evening. We're so happy to have them here to celebrate the holidays.

  4. Don't worry...we all get that way when we aren't well. I recently had a stomach bug and I thought this is it...I'm going to die!! but then 12 hours later I was grocery shopping.. :o) I'm sure there is some research somewhere that says we release hormones that cause us to get cranky..so blame it on that! Hope you're better for Christmas!

  5. All is forgiven! Colds and virus' should be renamed 'Whinning Virus"! I don't know anyone who doesn't do some of that when a bug comes along to nibble on us! We are all drawn under this spell at some point. It doesn't seem to be your nature to be a whiner. :)
